I began freelance writing in 2020 during the pandemic: In the wake of so much uncertainty, many pop-up businesses were born. I wanted to tell the stories of the individuals brave enough to start a new, passionate venture.

My professional career started with public relations and social media marketing for an agency servicing B2B technology clients. I then went into the hospitality industry, helping OpenTable kick off their SEO and content marketing efforts. I even had a short stint in retail inventory before finding my way back to marketing with Growth Machine, an SEO content agency. I started my career break in the summer of 2023 to be the primary caretaker of my children.

Aside from writing, my passions also include cooking, photography and supporting local businesses.

These days, I'm usually pretty busy wrangling my three children, but when I'm not, I find time to continue telling stories.
