Hi! I'm Paulina. Thank you for stopping by.

I began freelance writing in 2020 during the pandemic: In the wake of so much uncertainty, many pop-up businesses were born. I wanted to tell the stories of the individuals brave enough to start a new, passionate venture.

My professional career started with public relations and social media marketing for an agency servicing B2B technology clients. I then went into the hospitality industry, helping OpenTable kick off their SEO and content marketing efforts. I even had a short stint in retail inventory before finding my way back to marketing with Growth Machine, an SEO content agency. I started my career break in the summer of 2023 to be the primary caretaker of my children. (I hesitate to use the word "break" since being a stay-at-home parent is arguably one of the toughest jobs I've ever had!)

Aside from writing, my passions also include cooking and baking, photography, supporting small, local businesses and stopping by every photo booth I can find.

These days, I'm usually pretty busy wrangling my three children, but when I'm not, I find time to continue telling stories. I’ve also started sharing some of my own through my weekly journal, A Mixed Bag. I hope you enjoy it.
